Principal - Stephanie Savage
![]() |
Stephanie Savage began her educational career as a paraprofessional in a self-contained special education classroom. There she found a passion to help students find the tools they needed to succeed, despite their physical barriers. She subsequently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood education. Mrs. Savage spent the majority of her teaching career teaching in a rural, title-1 school district where she taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten. It was here that she found her passion to help all students succeed and also took on various leadership roles, including PTSA president. This passion led her to complete her Master's degree in Educational Leadership through Arizona State University’s iLead program. Upon completion of her principal internship, she moved into administration serving as Assistant Principal overseeing academics and curriculum at a local high-performing charter network. The following year, she moved into the principal role and humbly served the campus for over 4 years. With over 10 years of experience in education, Mrs. Savage continually strives to help all learning communities excel as scholars. Mrs. Savage is excited to join the Night Hawk community as Principal.

I am excited to join the AMS Glendale community as the new Assistant Principal for Grades 2–4. With over 15 years of experience in education, I bring a strong foundation in instructional practice, student engagement, and school leadership. I’ve taught in a variety of settings: public, private, and online, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Most recently, I served as the founding STEM teacher at a rural Arizona middle school.
In addition to teaching, I had the privilege of leading several school-wide programs, including serving as Athletic Director, sponsoring the Student Council, coordinating student recognition events, and leading a science leadership initiative in partnership with the SciTech Institute. These roles deepened my passion for student voice, collaborative leadership, and school culture. I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and am currently pursuing a second Master’s in Educational Leadership. I believe deeply in fostering strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and creating a joyful, safe, and rigorous learning environment.
Outside of school, I’m a proud mom currently raising three boys—a high school senior and two energetic elementary-aged sons. My husband and I have been married for 19 years, and I’m grateful for his constant support. In my free time, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, gardening, and sharing coffee and conversation with friends. I’m truly looking forward to being part of the Nighthawk family and supporting our students, staff, and school community in reaching new heights this year!
